Our Authorizations

MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION:  

Our medical & specialist qualifications are reocognazied and authorized by the Medical licence issuring branch of ther Ministry of Health Sweden called SOS (Socialstyrelsen) www.socialstyrelsen.se 

AESTHETIC AUTHORIZATION:  

Our Aesthetic Academy (Academy) is recognized by the relevant part of The Ministry of Health Sweden called IVO. (Inspection av Vård & Omsorg) www.ivo.se  

Cancellation & Refunds Policy:

This policy forms an integral part of the contractual agreement between the course provider (“we”, “us”) and the delegate (“you”) upon booking and payment of any course.

  1. Binding Agreement

    By confirming a booking and making payment, you enter into a legally binding agreement. You acknowledge that training places are limited and reserved exclusively for you.

  2. Non-Refundable Fees
    50% of the course fee is strictly non-refundable immediately upon booking, reflecting administrative costs, reservation of place, and preparatory resources.
    Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the course start date are 100% non-refundable, regardless of reason, including illness, travel issues, or personal circumstances.

    All course fees become fully non-refundable after 3 months from the date of purchase, irrespective of whether the course has been attended.

  3. Rescheduling & Transfers
    Requests to reschedule or transfer a course must be submitted in writing at least 30 days prior to the course start date.
    Rescheduling is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.
    No rescheduling or transfers will be permitted within 30 days of the course start date.

    Each booking may be rescheduled once only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  4. Validity of Courses
    All purchased courses must be booked and completed within 12 months from the date of purchase.

    Unused courses after this period are forfeited without refund or compensation.

  5. Force Majeure
    In circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of pandemics, war, terrorism, governmental restrictions, natural disasters or similar events, we reserve the right to:
    Reschedule the course to a later date.
    Offer a credit note for future use.

    No monetary refunds shall be issued in such cases. Neither party shall be liable for additional costs or damages.

  6. Provider Rights
    We reserve the right to:
    Cancel, reschedule, or relocate any course at our discretion.
    Refuse participation or remove any delegate whose behavior is deemed disruptive, unsafe, defamatory, or incompatible with clinical standards.

    In such cases, no refund will be issued.

  7. Travel & Accommodation
    We are not responsible for:
    Travel costs
    Accommodation expenses
    Subsistence or any indirect losses

    Delegates are strongly advised to obtain appropriate insurance.

  8. Online vs In-Person Training

    Online training is provided as supplementary education only and does not replace hands-on clinical training. No refunds are provided on the basis of modality preference.

  9. Compliance & Professional Standards

    All training is delivered in accordance with applicable professional and safety standards. Delegates are responsible for ensuring that participation complies with their local regulatory requirements.

  10. Governing Law

    This policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Swedish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Swedish courts

Training Course Bookings Rules:

AESTHETIC AUTHORIZATION:  

Our Aesthetic Academy (Academy) is recognized by the relevant part of The Ministry of Health Sweden called IVO. (Inspection av Vård & Omsorg) www.ivo.se  

Payment must be made at the time of booking or via Invoicing.  

A certificate of the course will only be issued upon completion of both the theory and the practical parts of the course.  

We provide all candidates with live models to perform Hands on to improve their practical skills.  The delegates do not need to bring their own models. The presence of different trainers across different courses is mainly to provide a vast variety of experience in the theory and practical sessions. 

We cannot guarantee models for every single treatment area. In unforeseen circumstances, if there are models absent, we will not be responsible for compensation or penalties.  

Most of the times we offer Snacks or lunch to the candidates that’s why you must provide us with any special dietary needs a week prior to the course so that we can fulfil your requirements. 

The delegates arriving late to the course may not be able to participate in the course or certified by us.  

We have no responsibility & liability for the cost of any travel expenses or hotel/accommodation costs incurred by delegates to attend our courses. 

Our standard Course aftercare and support are offered to all delegates, but we do not guarantee any employment for our course candidates. 

Master in Aesthetic Injectables – Level 1 + Fellowship (6 months) 

This Master program is divided into 3 modules (Level 1, level 2 & level 3). All these modules including fellowship are formulated by NSK experts and management & regulated by Industry Qualifications (IQ). We are not responsible for the specification of these qualifications, or any changes made to these qualifications in future. We are liable to adjust our training program accordingly to accommodate any amendments. 

Delegates attending these study programs are subject to the same cancellation policy as all our training courses. Failure to cancel or reschedule these study programs with at least 1 months’ notice will result in the delegate losing their booking fee. Any delegates that have booked any of these study programs but failed to attend it will be charged fully for study fee. There will be no refund if the course is not cancelled at least 3 months before it starts. 

These study levels are assessed on a pass/fail basis.  

Delegates can retake failed assessments subject to our resit fees.  

The resit fee for examination (The theory and practical parts) of each level is 1000 US Dollars = 11 000 SEK + VAT 

 

Master in Aesthetic Injectables – Level 2 + Fellowship (12 months) 

This Master program is divided into 3 modules (Level 1, level 2 & level 3). All these modules including fellowship are formulated by NSK experts and management & regulated by Industry Qualifications (IQ). We are not responsible for the specification of these qualifications, or any changes made to these qualifications in future. We are liable to adjust our training program accordingly to accommodate any amendments.

We are liable to adjust our training program accordingly to accommodate any amendments.

Failure to cancel or reschedule these study programs with at least 1 months’ notice will result in the delegate losing their booking fee. Any delegates that have booked any of these study programs but failed to attend it will be charged fully for study fee. Online Training Videos: 

We recommend our online training videos to those experienced aesthetic practitioners who have already attended face to face courses. 

When a candidate purchases an online course/video, the delegates will have access to videos via our website for a period of 12 months.  

Access can be renewed after this time for a repeat purchase fee. 

All purchases for our online training videos are non-refundable. 

Photography: 

We want our delegates NOT to take any photographs or videos during any of our training courses. All before and after photographs that are taken for the purposes of your training portfolio will remain the property of Nordic Skin Medical & Aesthetic Academy/NSK. This material can only be used as part of your training record. It is strictly prohibited to use this material (Pictures, videos, etc.) in your own professional portfolios or on your own social media/web pages. 

NSK/NS-MAC (The course provider) may take photos on the training day for use on our social media pages, websites and marketing activities. All delegates will be asked to opt-in while completing the course registration at the beginning of the day. If you do not wish to be included in any course photos, videos or group photos, please notify the course coordinator on the day and step away from any photographs being taken. According to legislation, you have always the right to change your mind at any time and request us to remove any of your photographs from our website or social media accounts. Medica Finance 

We are not a lender but only an introducer. The credit product is provided by Medical Finance. Credit is only available to permanent Swedish residents aged 18 and over, depending on their status. Terms and conditions applied for credits, repayments, etc are available at www.medicalfinance.se . Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with any guarantee that your credit application will be approved. We even don’t have any responsibility for your credit, it must be handled directly between you and Medical Finance.
